How does the car delivery work?

We will deliver the vehicle to the address provided at your booking, no need to go to a Counter!!! We will leave the keys in a Lockbox located in the car’s window and send you the code by text message.

Where can you deliver the car?

We can deliver your rental to Miami International Airport, Fort Lauderdale Airport, or any address whitin Miami. If the delivery address is at Miami International Airport or in Doral the delivery is free of charge, otherwise, we might charge a small fee to help us cover transportation costs.

How do I get the keys?

Keys will be inside a lockbox, it will be hanging on the car’s window, we will provide a code to open it by text message at the time of your rental. Once you get the keys, please remove the lockbox from the window and put it on the trunk until your rental ends, you will use it then to leave us the keys.

How do I return the vehicle?

At the end of your rental please do the following:

Fill up the gas to the same level you received it.
Park the car at the selected Drop Off address.
Check that you are legally parked and pay your parking if required.
Put the lockbox in a window, lock the vehicle, and leave the keys inside the lockbox.

Let us know when you've dropped the car by text or email, attach pictures with the exact location.

What documents are needed to rent a car?

If you live in the US we will only need a valid driver’s license. If you live outside the USA we will require a valid driver’s license and your passport.

How is the initial car inspection done?

At the time of pick up and before starting your rent please check the car and let us know if you see any damages, you can do so by text message, email, or using our Car Damage Report eform, it will be sent to your email prior to your rental pick up time.

How old should I be to rent a vehicle?

You must be 25 or older.

Can I have an additional driver?

Yes of course!!! Just let us know so when booking. If your rental already started and you need to add an additional driver, please contact us at info@upperrental.com.

Do you provide child seats?

Yes, you can add child seats to your rental at booking. Two options will be available, Baby Seats (0 – 2 years) and Toddler Seats (2-5 years).

How many miles are included in my rental?

All of our rentals have 200 miles/day, if you are an international tourist you will have unlimited miles.

What kind of fuel do the vehicles use?

All of our cars and SUVs use REGULAR GASOLINE.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Accepted Answer

The default payment method will be Credit Card, however, you can also pay using a Debit Card, cash, Zelle, Venmo, Paypal, etc.

What is the Security Deposit?

We may place a temporary hold on your credit card or require a cash payment as a precautionary measure in case of any issues such as parking tickets, speeding violations, or damages to the vehicle. This deposit will be refunded at the end of your rental.

What about tolls?

When you rent with us, you won't need to stress about tolls. We provide a Sunpass Transponder with every rental, and when you return the car, we'll send you an Official Sunpass Report that details any tolls you incurred during your trip. The amount will be charged to your payment method with no extra fees or markups.

Can I drive outside Florida?

No, unfortunately, our vehicles are restricted by insurance limitations and cannot operate outside of the state of Florida.

What about the Car Rental Agreement?

We are a 100% online and 100% contactless rental company, so you will sign the Car Rental Agreement online, we will deliver it to your email after you have booked your car, you can electronically sign it using your phone or PC.
